Since our first Lumos Jazz show in Andover on 15th May 2026, something special has been building. It’s quickly become one of our most exciting launches yet.
For a while now, we’d been thinking about jazz and where it sits as a genre. It’s something so many people recognise and enjoy, but it isn’t always easy to experience live. Unless you’re in certain cities, or already part of that scene, it can feel quite out of reach. That’s a big part of why we wanted to create Lumos Jazz, bringing live jazz into local venues, making it more accessible, without needing to travel far or know where to look.
From Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra to Amy Winehouse and Billie Holiday, jazz takes on a whole new atmosphere when it’s performed live, by candlelight. We’ve shaped each of these venues with candlelight, sound, and subtle staging, so that stepping in feels a little like stepping into a New York City jazz bar, somewhere you can sit, listen, and actually take it in.
A night of live jazz is never far.
Whether you’re a lifelong jazz fan or simply looking for a different kind of night out, our Jazz experience has been so proud to become what it is in such a short space of time, and we genuinely can’t wait for the next chapter. We’re also so proud of our musicians, whose talent is what really brings this experience to life. It’s been a journey, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s come along for it.
