At Lumos, our passion has always been to create magical musical moments under candlelight but our mission goes beyond the music.
Each month, we dedicate a portion of our proceeds to causes that matter, reflecting the spirit of connection, kindness, and compassion that lives at the heart of our concerts. We believe that just as music can uplift a soul, our shared efforts can uplift communities in need.
For April, we proudly supported the World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s largest humanitarian organisation fighting hunger. With over 800 million people around the world not having enough to eat, the work WFP does is more important than ever. From delivering emergency food supplies to war-torn regions, to helping children stay in school with school meals, their efforts directly impact millions of lives every day.
Why WFP?
Hunger isn’t just a crisis, it’s a silent emergency. As a team that brings people together for emotional and meaningful experiences, we felt a deep connection to WFP’s work in nourishing communities. Supporting them was our way of extending the warmth of our concerts to a global stage.
What’s next?
We plan to continue contributing to timely and relevant causes each month. From environmental projects to mental health support, we want Lumos Live to be a platform that lights up lives in more ways than one.
By attending a Lumos show, you’re not just making memories, you’re making a difference. And together, we can make our candlelight experiences a little brighter for the world beyond the concert hall.
